Siji Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through juria.in and our products and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, organization name, and the messages or enquiries you send us.
- Account and service data: information that you or your organization enter into products such as SchoolOS or OrbitHR, or into a journal platform we host for you.
- Payment information: billing name, billing contact details, invoice and transaction references. Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on the payment gateway’s secure page and are not stored on our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and basic usage logs, collected to keep our services secure and working.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, host, maintain and support our products and services;
- To process payments, issue invoices and handle refunds;
- To respond to your enquiries and send service-related messages (such as account, billing and security notices);
- To improve our services and to prevent fraud and misuse;
- To comply with legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing your information
We share information only where needed: with payment gateways and banks to process payments; with hosting, email and messaging providers that help us run the service, under confidentiality obligations; and with authorities when required by law. For organization products, data entered by an institution (for example, a school’s student records) is controlled by that institution, and we process it on its behalf.
4. Online payments
Payments are processed by RBI-regulated third-party payment gateways. When you pay, you are subject to the gateway’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the transaction status and reference needed to confirm your payment.
5. Data security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, invoice records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies
Our site may use essential cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, security and basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the service.
Children
Our website and services are directed to organizations and adults. Where a school or institution uses our software, student data is entered and managed by that institution. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without the involvement of their institution or guardian.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time. For data held on behalf of an institution, please contact that institution first. To make a request, email us at help@juria.in / sijifintech@gmail.com; we will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
